Wayne Theatre Presents Scrooge! A Joyful Holiday Musical for the Whole Family

WAYNESBORO, VA - The historic Wayne Theatre invites audiences to celebrate the season with Scrooge!, the lively stage musical adapted by Leslie Bricusse, the Oscar-winning and Grammy-winning writer behind the 1970 film. This theatrical version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol blends spirited storytelling with richly arranged carols and features six songs not heard in the movie, offering a fresh and festive experience for all ages.

From Marley’s warning to the visits of the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come, Scrooge! delivers heart, humor, and a rousing finale that sends audiences out humming. Perfect for families, the production balances holiday fun with the story’s timeless message of generosity and redemption. Patrons can expect terrific ensemble numbers, memorable solos, and visuals that glow with seasonal warmth.
