Ball in the House to Perform Live at the Historic Wayne Theatre April 1, 2026

WAYNESBORO, VA – The Wayne Theatre in Downtown Waynesboro will welcome acclaimed a cappella group Ball in the House for a live performance on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 7:00 pm. Known for their high-energy blend of R&B, soul, and pop, Ball in the House brings a dynamic and interactive concert experience that has captivated audiences around the world.

Based in Boston, Ball in the House has built an international reputation through an extensive touring schedule, averaging nearly 200 performances each year. Their work spans theaters, performing arts centers, festivals, and major events, including opening performances for nationally and internationally recognized artists such as The Beach Boys, The Jonas Brothers, Gladys Knight, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson, Fantasia, and KC and the Sunshine Band, among many others.

The group has received numerous accolades, including being named APCA Band of the Year and winning the Boston Harmony Sweepstakes. They have headlined major international events such as the China International Chorus Festival in Beijing and have appeared on national television programs including America’s Got Talent, The TODAY Show, and The Daily Buzz. In addition to live performance, Ball in the House is widely recognized for their commercial and media work, serving for several years as the voices behind Cool Whip advertising campaigns and most recently writing and performing the jingle for Amazon Prime Day.

Ball in the House features an accomplished lineup of vocalists and musicians whose backgrounds span classical training, contemporary a cappella, arranging, and music production. Members include Dylan Melville on bass, a Berklee College of Music graduate now performing full time with the group, and Oscar Hall, baritone, whose experience includes performances at the White House and for Pope Francis. Tenor Tyler Nordin brings extensive experience in vocal production and arranging, while high tenor Wallace Thomas contributes a background shaped by arts-focused education, international performance, and military service. Founder Jon Ryan provides vocal percussion and direction, having built the group from the ground up following years of performance, teaching, and arranging within the a cappella community.

The Wayne Theatre’s presentation of Ball in the House reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to offering diverse, high-quality programming that spans genres and artistic disciplines. By bringing nationally and internationally recognized artists to Waynesboro, the Wayne Theatre continues to expand access to live music experiences while supporting a vibrant cultural landscape in the Shenandoah Valley.
