A quick note about song choices: This is a miscast concert, so we absolutely want you to think outside the box and bring us songs you’d love to sing but wouldn’t traditionally be cast to perform. That said, we’re not interested in “miscasting” material that has specific racial, cultural, disability, or other identity-based casting requirements. Be bold and unexpected—but please be thoughtful, too.
We’re also keeping things family-friendly-ish. A little darkness, innuendo, or mischief is welcome. Overtly sexual or inappropriate material probably isn’t the right fit for this event.
Bonus points for spooky! Creepy, dark, witchy, haunted, or otherwise Halloween-adjacent material is always welcome during HalloWAYNE season—but you don’t have to bring us a ghost song to be a part of the fun.
If there is a potential barrier that might prevent you from being able to audition, please let us know how we can work with you so you can still audition.

Beth Aldrich (she/her), a vocalist and music educator, shares her passion for the arts on and off the stage. With a Bachelors of Music from James Madison University, Beth’s performance journey has taken her to venues including Carnegie Hall, the National Cathedral, and Notre Dame de Paris. Beth has appeared in productions including Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors, 9 to 5,WhiteChristmas,Reefer Madness, Scrooge, and Singin’ in the Rain, and has music directed Finding Nemo, Jr and My Little Titus Andronicus. As a private music teacher, Beth specializes in voice, piano, and gender-affirming voice training, nurturing the talents of her students with care and expertise.
